မိခင္ျဖစ္သူဟာ အသက္၂၅ႏွစ္အ႐ြယ္႐ွိ Emma Wilsonျဖစ္ၿပီး ကေလးကေတာ႔ Callum Wilson ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ Emma Wilsonဟာ Callumေလးကို အေသ႐ိုက္ႏွက္တာေၾကာင္႔ Callumေလးဟာ အျမင္အာ႐ံုကြယ္၊ အ႐ိုး (၁၁)ေခ်ာင္းက်ိဳးသြားၿပီး ကုမရတဲ႔ ဦးေႏွာက္ထိခိုက္မႈလည္း ရ႐ွိခဲ႔ပါတယ္။ ႐ိုက္ႏွက္တာ ၾကမ္းလြန္းလို႔ ေအာက္ထပ္က မ်က္ႏွာက်က္ေတာင္ တုန္ခါေနခဲ႔တယ္လို႔ သိရပါတယ္။

“ေနာက္ပိုင္း” ပံုေတြမွာေတာ႔ Emma Wilson ဟာ သြားေပၚေအာင္ရယ္ထားၿပီး သူမေဘးမွာေတာ႔ မ်က္ႏွာမွာ အျပင္းအထန္ ဒဏ္ရာရထားတဲ႔ ငိုေနတဲ႔သားငယ္ကို ေတြ႕ရပါတယ္။
“မင္းဟာ ေကာင္းမြန္တဲ႔၊ ခ်စ္စဖြယ္ေကာင္းတဲ႔၊ အေထာက္အပံ႔ရတဲ႔ မိသားစုႀကီးက လာခဲ႔တာပါ။ သားႏွစ္ေယာက္ ႐ွိတဲ႔ေနရာမွာ တျခားသားတစ္ေယာက္အတြက္ မိခင္ေကာင္းတစ္ေယာက္ ျဖစ္ခဲ႔ေပမဲ႔ Callum ေလးကိုေတာ႔ အေၾကာင္းတခ်ိဳ႕ေၾကာင္႔ ပစ္ပယ္ခဲ႔တယ္။ ကေလးႏွစ္ေယာက္ကို ေစာင္႔ေ႐ွာက္ရတာ မႏိုင္နင္းဘူးဆိုလည္း မင္းမိသားစုနဲ႔ က်န္းမာေရးပညာ႐ွင္ေတြ ႐ွိေနတာပဲ။ တရားခြင္တေလွ်ာက္လံုးလဲ ဘာစိတ္ခံစားခ်က္မွ မျပဘူး။ ဒီအမႈမွာ အဲ႔ဒါ ျပႆနာအသြင္တစ္ခုပဲေပါ႔။”လို႔ တရားသူႀကီးက Emma Wilson ကိုေျပာခဲ႔ပါတယ္။

During the trial, prosecutor Paul Dunkels said Callum’s fatal brain injury was caused by a direct blow or from striking his head against something while his broken leg may have been caused by banging against a hard surface.
One blow caused his retina to detach, leaving him blind.
The jury was told Callum’s older brother did not have the strength to inflict the severe injuries.
The judge told Wilson: “You come from a good, loving and supportive large family. You were clearly a good mother to your other son but for some reason you rejected Callum.
“If looking after two children was too much for you there was support there in the shape of your family and health ­professionals.
“You have shown no emotion throughout the trial – it is a troubling feature in this case.”
